Yes, to be able to treat you I need to do very specific lymphatic drainage across the breast tissue.  This is because there are many lymphatic vessels in the breast tissue and the drainage points for the lymph to drain into the venous system (blood vessels) is just below the collar bones.   I try and make this as comfortable as possible by provided a paper covering and only uncovering one side at a time.  Once this part of the treatment has been completed you will remain covered up for the rest of the treatment.  Some people like to bring a towel with them as it is heavier than the paper covering and makes them feel more secure.  You are also very welcome to bring someone else into the treatment room to accompany you during the treatment.
